Les Spratt Building Maintenance and Refurbishment

Les Spratt Building Maintenance and Refurbishment has been based on the Sunshine Coast since 2004 and has a vast client base including commercial, residential and refurbishments from all over the Sunshine coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. No job is too big or too small for Les and he prides himself in continuing his relations and professional workmanship with existing and new clients.

My Father and I build a canoe together (10 years old)

Building has been in the Spratt family for generations, both his Father and Grandfather were builders. At the age of 10 Les and his father built his first canoe and this was just beginning. By the age of 16 Les spent six months at Thames polytechnic and six months in a department doing practical work for a period of three years in England, Les had gained his qualifications in 1982.

Les’s father was nearing retirement so he and his brother started working together with their father to expand the business and by 1993 had a major building business in London with over 60 employees. They had a large client base and were contracted to do some of the following work:

• Laline Restaurant – Soho
• Chez Solange – Leicester Square
• Police Stations
• Buckingham Gate
• Houses of Parliament

My Father and I built a pool together (13 years old)

In 1998 Les decided to venture into his own business in London and had long term clients ranging from Lord & Lady Simon, David Pool (former area manager for Nat West Bank), Rosemary Jones and worked on the British Airways Millennium Wheel.

Les & his wife have since moved to Australia in 2003 and started his business Les Spratt Building Maintenance and Refurbishment.
